Origin of the album

The birth of this album was out of my secret place. My secret place is my quiet time with God. It is not a literal place but an intentional time set aside to spend with my God... a time to find peace, joy, hope and comfort... a time to sift through situations and evaluate emotions... a time to re-align and reset... a time to connect with my Creator, and out of the overflow of that works of art are created.

Inspiration and Intention

The original recording of the piano was initially intended only as an experience for me to connect with God. Each track was an in-the-moment, spontaneous, Holy Spirit inspired flow. I decided to produce it as an album with more instrumentation and some vocal sounds so that it could be released to be a blessing of inspiration, healing, peace, joy... and to provide an experience of being in an atmosphere of a holy secret place.

...Dwell in the secret place of the Most High ...
remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty...
say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God;
on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
