Story Behind
​the Poetry

Poems are my form of psalms. They flow out of my quiet time with God, as my way of pouring out my heart and seeking comfort and connection with God.
These specific ones emerged as I was waiting and longing for signs of God's promises, for reasons to hope. The words birthed were a balm for my soul and helped me believe in the hope that I sought, or rather, believe in the God of hope.
